Books: over $300 retail for $18:
Fabric: I think I paid $10 for this.
Mom’s yarn: ~20 skeins of laceweight + 10 skeins of palette in a grey color.
And now, the contents of my trash bag:
70 balls of yarn (all wool except for two balls of cotton). A lot of it is missing the bands, so I’m not sure which yarn lines they came from.
As you can see it was difficult to get more than one skein in the same color, but I managed to get 8 skeins of Wool of the Andes Bulky (destined to be an Owls sweater for yours truly) in the teal colorway, four skeins of the cashmere/mohair(?) blend, and lots of other delicious goodies. My mind is spinning with ideas for all these skeins.
In fact, I’m sort of thinking of challenging myself to knit all of this up and track it on the blog. Can I knit 70 balls of yarn in a year? We’ll see!
